Luke and Niraj should be proud to have been so inspirational….long May they continue. In spending time with these guys it has become obvious to our family that the rest of the world could learn so much from the Mauritian people, their respect and valuing of each others cultures and heritage and their determination to all unite around similar virtues and values. It was a privilege actually to spend time with two men who were so kind, caring, thoughtful and so incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their Island, their job and their communities. Luke and Niraj were both beautiful examples of Mauritian hospitality, kindness, generosity and humour. We had a half day with Niraj on the south of the Island, a full day with Luke doing the South West and Niraj again to do the North and Port Louis. We then purchased three excursions from Yuvrin who visited us in our hotel. Our holiday started with an airport transfer from Coquille Bonheur (Ravi) who was so passionate about his job and his island. The team became like my family! This is an absolute joke of a company who have no consideration for the customer comfort or safety. ![]() The final straw came when approaching the airport - the driver answered what sounded like a personal call on his mobile while driving and lost control of the vehichle, veered across the road and hit a kerb! The driver then suggested that he was going to divert to swap with another driver - we expressed dissatisfaction with this so it didn't happen. The car duly arrived.and was a high 4x4 vehicle which caused me considerable pain trying to get in. Letchmee's last message said transfer was confirmed for 5.30pm and would be a saloon car. Several more messages were exchanged before we finally got confirmation of a 5.30pm pick up - but from the wrong hotel! This is not a suitable response and we felt it was still too late so we asked for a 5.30pm pick up. On checking our transfer documents I discovered that we were not being picked up until 18.50 with a transfer time of approx 1.25 hours! I contacted Letchmee (who claimed he was our representative) and was told he would "try" to get us picked up at 6.30 or 6.00. Our return flight was at 21.50 meaning check in was at 18.50. I also messaged myself and was assured by Letchmee that it was a saloon car. Our travel agency in the UK arranged private car transfers with this company from airport to hotel and return.īecause of a mobility issue I specifically asked the UK company to request a saloon car, which they did.
